New Award

With Dr. Valeria Cavalli in the Department of Neuroscience, we have been awarded a one-year, $40,000 grant from the McDonnell Small Grants Program for our collaborative studies on axon-Schwann cell interactions.

At this year’s DRSCB Retreat, Mitch D’Rozario won the Victor Hamburger award for best postdoc oral presentation, and Rebecca Cunningham won the Rita Levi-Montalcini award for best student poster presentation. Congratulations, Mitch and Rebecca!

Sarah Ackerman wins the 2016 Needleman Prize!

Congratulations, Sarah! The now Dr. Ackerman has achieved the Washington University Graduate Student Trifecta! First the Olin, then the O’Leary, and now the 2016 Needleman Prize. This award is given annually to a graduating student at Washington University who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of Pharmacology.
